Selat Consulting and Training Company organized an introductory day for foreign embassies in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Several embassies were invited to join in this event including the Romanian, Swiss, French, American, and other embassies.
The purpose of this open day was to introduce the launching of Selat and new program that includes language and cultural education. The program was launched in March of 2019 in the attendance of several representatives from embassies, such as the Brazilian embassy and the Philippine embassy, and it included a cultural introduction of the history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and parts of its civilization over the past centuries.
This was in addition to shedding light on Arab and Jordanian customs and traditions ending with a question-and-answer session to help the audience reach a better understanding of the culture. After the cultural awareness presentation ended, the attendees were invited to a lunch presenting the traditional dish in Jordan. The goal was met and the attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation for the event.
